A helpful answer. On every channel.
Phone, web, or text. Paddock answers questions, books visits, and brings in your team when a customer needs a person.
Incoming call
Phone
Answered before the second ring.
The floor is busy, it’s 9pm, it’s Sunday. Paddock answers with a voice you chose, your inventory, and your appointment availability behind it.
Your store, your voice
Choose the assistant’s voice and name. Hear your own greeting before you save, so the first thing callers hear sounds right for your store.
Interrupt it anytime
Callers can cut in mid-sentence to correct a detail or change direction. Paddock stops speaking and listens, so the conversation can keep moving.
Handoff with the work done
When a call needs your team’s judgment, Paddock saves the transcript and the customer’s request. Your staff gets the context they need to follow through.
Web
The bubble that knows the car.
Paddock knows which vehicle the visitor is looking at right now. It answers from your inventory and helps book the test drive while they’re still on the page.
The conversation follows the visitor
Click from the ID.4 to the Atlas and Paddock knows. The thread continues from page to page, without the shopper introducing themselves again.
Your website keeps working
If the widget cannot load, it stays out of the way. Your dealership’s website continues working, without a broken chat bubble interrupting the visit.
A person can step in anytime
Your team can take over a chat from the platform with the whole transcript in front of them. Paddock hands off the conversation and its context.
Text
The next visit starts with a text.
Customers can text your dealership about a vehicle, a service visit, or a question after hours. Paddock answers in the thread and helps them take the next step.
Answer on their schedule
A customer sends a text and gets help with inventory, store information, or service questions. They can reply when they have a moment, without waiting on the phone.
Book in the conversation
Paddock checks available appointments and confirms the details in the thread. The booking is saved for your team, alongside the conversation that produced it.
Keep the history together
A text belongs with the customer’s calls and web chats. Staff can read the same record, pick up an open request, and continue helping without starting over.
Behind every answer
Your dealership’s knowledge. On every channel.
Inventory supplies the vehicle facts. Your calendar supplies the available visits. Your team handles the questions that need judgment. The same workflow sits behind calls, web chats, and texts.
One memory
One conversation, wherever they take it.
The visitor who chats on your site is the same person who texts on Tuesday and calls on Friday. Paddock knows: same memory, same manners, and nobody is ever asked to introduce themselves twice.
And when a conversation needs a person, for judgment, a deal, a hard question, Paddock hands it to your team with the full history attached, and gets out of the way.

One front desk for phone, web, and text.
Paddock connects the first customer question to a useful next step. Calls, website chats, and texts use the same dealership information, appointment checks, and customer history. Your team can inspect the conversation and take over when it needs a person.
How does web chat know which car a shopper means?
The widget carries the vehicle-page context into the conversation and updates it as a visitor moves between listings. The page identifies the car; your inventory supplies the facts. If a listing and your records disagree, Paddock uses the dealership’s inventory records.
Can callers interrupt the assistant?
Yes. Callers can correct a detail or change direction while Paddock is speaking. The assistant stops and listens. Try changing a vehicle or appointment time during a demo, then inspect the final conversation record.
What does the team see after a call?
The saved record includes the transcript, customer context, and any booked appointment or open handoff. Spoken numbers are written as usable prices and times: an answer spoken as ‘thirty-five nine ninety-five’ can appear as $35,995 in the record.
Can customers book a visit by text?
Yes. Paddock can answer a customer’s incoming text, check the dealership’s available slots, collect the details needed for the visit, and confirm a completed booking in the thread. An appointment requires an available slot and a successful booking action.
What happens when someone switches channels?
The customer’s calls, web chats, and texts stay connected to the same record. Staff can see what was asked, which vehicle was discussed, and what has already been booked, so the next conversation can pick up with that context.
What happens when a customer needs a person?
Your team can take over a web or text thread with the history in front of them. Calls that need judgment create a handoff with the request and transcript attached. Review the store’s handoff workflow during setup; a callback request and a live phone transfer are different behaviors.
How are text preferences handled?
Customer contact preferences stay on the record, and STOP requests are honored. Your team can review the conversation and the customer’s contact status in the platform.
What needs to be set up?
Add the web widget to your existing website, connect your phone and text channels, and review the dealership’s inventory, hours, booking rules, and handoff owners. Test real customer questions on each channel before launch.
